Swetronic (China) C & M Group Ltd. (hereinafter referred
as Swetronic) was established in May, 2001. It's the
first group company specializing in casting in China.
Registered in Hong Kong, Swetronic comprises Swetronic
Ltd., Swetronic (Shanghai) M/E Engineering Co. Ltd.,
and another seven companies and factories in Shanghai
and the nearby Jiangsu province.
Swetronic's main businesses are the medium to high
end casting of stainless steel, ferrous and non-ferrous
metals and also the manufacturing of machinery. Most
of these products are exported to overseas markets.
Delay line, a chip that regulates the electronic signals,
is another of the company's important products. It
is a vital part of medical instruments, and has a
more than 50% market share in China. Swetronic also
acts as the agent of a number of foreign products
for China.
Swetronic grew out of Swetronic Ltd., a Hong Kong
based company specializing in engineering and trading
of the latest technologies which also established
Swetronic (Shanghai) M/E Engineering Co. Ltd. in 1992.
With its state of the art technologies and Shanghai's
high-tech capability, Swetronic designs and manufactures
various sophisticated, labor-intensive precision casting
and machinery products with high quality. The company's
products have already successfully broken into the
Japanese market, and are now moving into the North
American and European market.
With China's entry to the WTO, more foreign companies
will devote their attention to China. Meanwhile, Swetronic
will keep increasing the product variety, improving
the quality, reducing the production costs, and expanding
its sales in both domestic and international markets.
It will seek to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
once it is mature enough to do so.
